We went to naga for the penafrancia festival last september 16. we planned 7 am for departure pero nagising kami mga 6:30 am na. so naka alis kami ng Camalig mga 9:30 am na. nakarating kami ng Naga City mga 10:15 am. Dumeretso na kami ng church. Sa Basilica na kami nagsimba kasi traffic na sa Centro which is andun yung Cathedral na andun din si "INA" (Our Lady of Penafrancia). After namin magsimba dumiretso na kami sa bahay ng Tita ko (kapatid ni mommy) kasi andun yung kainan. Sarap ng pagkain! Nabusog ako! After ng kainan nagchikka chikka muna kami ng mga pinsan at ibang relatives namin. Tapos mga 4pm umuwi na kami.

I so love this little maniquins and the designs of the dress at the mall. soooo C-U-T-E!!! very very colorful. I am so amazed how they do it. Hindi sya tahi ha? Gumamit lang sila ng madaming pins. Ang galing noh?

i woke up happy kanina. nung mag internet ako at na open ko yung YM ko, there are so many offline messages. two are my favorites. from jeff and cabbie.

jeff complimented on my latest lo and wow sobrang praises naman yun!!!! pero THANK YOU kasi tumaba na naman yung puso ko. salamat jeff and pia for everything! hope you like my token for both of you pagdating ni liza sa scrapfest.

cabbie complimented also our future house. and she said i will be able to decorate our house with my own creativity. and she said she's happy for me. awwww!!! thank you so much cabbie for the nice words. sobrang nakaka gaan ng loob at nakaka lagay ng ngiti sa face! luv you talaga! ingat! mwuah!

last is i met up with liza in gaisano mall for some chikka... kasama nya officemate nya. and wow it was fun! i gave liza laing and bicol express and some abaca slippers. and made some bilin to ria, pia and jeff. sorry dun sa iba kasi yun lang nakayanan ko. yaan nyo next time kayo naman bibigyan ko. wag na magtampo ha?

our future house

This is the picture of our future house... not totally future na nga kasi by 2007 dun na kami titira. madami pang aayusin dyan kaya 2007 na kmi lilipat. Yung ref na makikita nyo at iba pang gamit dyan is not ours... sa lola ni jun. aalisin na lang yan pag lilipat na kami. Yung loob at labas ng bahay kailangan pa ng pintura. Ang dami dami pa talagang kailangang ayusin. At lalagyan pa sa ng second floor. Nagagandahan ako sa place as in at excited na akong tumira dyan.... And btw, look at the view of the mayon volcano there! a total blast! i super like it!

This is my entry to Joanne ans Sienna's challenge at Scrappin' moms site. i had fun doing this lo. i loved buttons and love doodling around my lo. i super love my Sakura Souffle White Pen!!!! Sobrang aliw sya gamitin. Thanks Joanne and Sienna for coming up with this challenge it brings out my style. Now i know that i am more on doodling. Happy Birthday to both of you! Mwuah!

a gift from honey

I was happy and excited to know na uuwi na si honey galing manila last sunday. Sabi nya dadating daw sya dito sa bahy monday morning na. So eto ako at excited na kasi may pasalubong daw sya sa akin... Of course i was also excited to see him kasi nga miss ko na rin sya. Pero mas naexcite ako dun sa pasalubong. hahahhahah! bad ba? It was from Smile kasi nag drop by daw sila ng Mall of Asia. I love you hon. Thank you for being thoughtful!

i am so happy to say that we already have a house to live in... as in masayang masaya ako makakapag decorate na ako ng sarili kong bahay! at last magkakaroon na ako ng sariling scraproom! yey! i am super duper over happy to the max! halata bang sobrang saya ko? kasi at last may matatawag na akong my/our own house!

hindi pa nga lang kami ngayon lilipat kasi yung lilipatan needs renovation so aayusin muna para matirhan na namin. i think 1 year pa bago kami lumipat. bahay kasi yun dati ng lola ni jun which is naka pangalan na sa nanay ni jun tapos binigay naman sa amin yung bahay at lupa. sa ngayon wala nang nakatira doon may nagbabantay lang.

sa mga susunod na araw ipapaayos namin yung bakod kasi halos wasak na yung ibang parte. tapos magpapakabit doon ng tubig. ipapaayos din yung likod bahay kasi may mga damo na... madami pang kailangang ayusin doon kaya medyo matagal pa sigurong makalipat kmi.

masaya din ako ngayon kasi natupad na ang isa sa mga pangarap ko nung bata pa ako na magkaroon ng sariling bahay. salamat sa pag basa nito!

I am so happy ngayong birthday ko as in! daming nag-greet sa akin na hindi ko naranasan last birthday ko. Sa mga ka egroup ko sa scrapbook... Maraming Maraming Salamat at pinasaya nyo ako by appreciating my works and simply by greeting me... sobrang appreciated ko yun. Sa mga relatives at friends ko thank you sa pagtext at sa greetings thru YM... Kina Mommy, Daddy, Manoy, Ate Shiela, Lilo, Dindin, Ate Fhen, Chin, Jun, Huey at sa mga kasambahay namin salamat sa inyo.... mwuah!

Lalo na kay Suzanne na gumawa ng gift for me. Suzanne ikaw lang ang may gift sa akin aside from Jun which is in-advance ko na last week pa. hahahha! Eto po yung gift sa akin ni Suzanne.

At kina Matet at Mary Ann na mga pinsan ni Jun. Ang only bisita ko sa birthday ko... heheheheh! Thank you at nasarapan naman kayo sa niluto kong spaghetti. Pasensya na sa iba at hindi ko inimbita dito sa bahay kasi wala naman talaga ako handa nagpumilit lang si Jun na magluto daw ako kahit spaghetti man lang para sa birthday ko. hihihii!

this is huey and our former maid's son. parang kuya kasi sya ni huey. mahal na mahal nya si huey. he kisses him always. ang cute nung picture na he kisses huey sa forehead. i used a sketch pala dito.

i love this photo of huey. napaka sarap nyang tingnan habang natutulog.

i scraplifted this sa chatterbox kit i bought kay ate nette sa attic. layout ni amy howe. even the papers are the same. heheheheh! ang ganda nya kasi gumawa ng layout. idol ko sya talaga.

this layout was made with love. mahal na mahal ko itong picture namin ni jun before our wedding. at mahal ko itong picture kasi payat pa ako dito... hmmm... kelan kaya ulit babalik katawan ko sa ganito? hmmm... heheheh! i made this because i love my hubby so much.

this is lezil and matet. they we're jun's cousin. bonding time kami dyan. kaedad ko eh. hihihiih! parang teen ager ano? hahahah! i also scraplifted this sa isang lo sa twopeas in a bucket.

Me, Myself and I

This is my metamorphosis. Dad wrote this for the speech of mom on my 18th birthday. This was so special to me. Every word is memorized here in my heart. I love my parents so much!

METAMORPHOSIS OF DIANA DULCIE R. VIBAR

On the evening of 31st of August 1983, a Wednesday was born a healthy petite baby girl weighting 6.0 pounds. The family was exhilarated by the arrival of the baby after the two naughty boys that preceded her in the household. She was named Diana, after the princess of England and the wonder woman who was then the only better television program available in the sole channel in Camalig then. The other name “Dulcie” was added after a relative and also the last name of a family friend who stayed in the small but cozy house when the baby was still in the womb.

Ninoy Aquino was just shot during the month and he was to be buried that week or so. Her birth was a respite from the hopelessness and gloom that was felt by every Filipino at that time.

The girl turned to be a very lively and extrovert lass. She was the darling of the house and that of the neighbors and relatives. She would readily sing and entertain any visitor in the house. Soon she would become popular in the community because she could sing the popular tune “THE GREATEST LOVE OF ALL”. If asked what her name is, she would answer, MY NAME IS DIANA DULCIE DILIMON BONGKAYO RIVA VIBAR. And people will laugh at the relationship between Dulcie and the sweet smile of the cute, fat and dimpled girl.

At age five, she enrolled in the Local Day Care Center and later in the Kindergarten School of the Parish just across the Catholic Church in the Poblacion. At her young and tender age she was noted to be good in arts and music. She had good penmanship and could draw figures and quickly memorize passages and lyrics. She would hum whatever tune she hears on the radio and was ahead of others of her age when it comes to anything seen on television, especially advertisements.

In the elementary grades, she was enrolled in the Camalig South Central School but later transferred, albeit reluctantly, to Cabangan Elementary School because the family have to occupy the newly built house at the Anson Subdivision. This is the house I am speaking about. She grew up here and would be very close with her baby sister Donna Dawn.

In High School, she gladly chose to be enrolled at Saint Agnes Academy. She developed the trait of being always prompt and hated being late in any undertaking. Because she was basically a nice person to be with, she had many friends and I don’t remember of any occasion hearing her complaining of any person she would not like to be with.

She is somewhat a daddy’s girl considering her closeness to her father. She’s a look-alike of her daddy that’s why.

In college, she passed the college entrance exam of Bicol University but assigned in Tabaco Campus to take up nursing. After weighting the pros and cons of having to board in Tabaco, she enrolled at AMA Computer College in Legazpi to take up Computer Science. She doesn’t like nursing anyway. She’s more at home in computers and can practice the arts with the use of information technology.

That’s my daughter and birthday girl Diane. I want you all to know that I am very proud of her. Me and her Daddy loves her very much.

i wanted to post this nung monday. hay naku nakalimutan ko may ipopost pala ako... heheheh! so eto na sya...

yesterday(august 20, 2006) we went to tiwi, albay for a family tradition to visit there every august. ang daming tao doon! pumupunta mga tao doon every august kasi nagsisimba sila at devotion na rin. naku nakalimutan ko sino name nung santo nila doon... ngek!

nweis, naabutan namin yung 8:30 mass. natulog si huey at karga ko sya. so biruin nyo 1 hr kong karga si huey at nakatayo pa kami kasi wala nang upuan dahil sa dami ng tao.

after ng mass pumunta na kami ng beach sa bacacay, albay. malayo yun sa tiwi. siguro mga 3 bayan pa.

pagdating namin doon super duper hangin to the max! pati alikabok pumapasok na ata sa mata ko eh... nasa stroller lang si huey nung sa beach. tawang tawa sya kasi mahangin. at ang daming tao... mga lolo at lola nya, mga pinsan at tio, tita...

masaya yung lakad namin as in! masaya akong makita ulit mga kapamilya namin. tagal na rin kasi namin hindi nagbo-bonding eh.

at ang sarap ng mga baon namin na ulam!!!! grilled fish, grilled pork chop, adobado (hindi ko alam tawag sa tagalog)

my first accordion

naku sobrang hirap na hirap ako sa pag gawa nito noh! as in! eh ikaw ba naman i-challenge ni cabbie who is the goddess (ay little goddess pala) ng accordion. hihihihihi! oh sya eto na sya! this will be my gift for mom sa paguwi nya sa october galing kuwait... sana hindi nya makita itong blog ko para surprise pa rin sa kanya. i used my scrap papers and tagpi tagpi the cardstock. hindi po ito ready made na accordion... as in ginawa ko sya kaya hirap na hirap ako. heheheheh!
